Description
A shrub or medium sized tree to 15m high. Has edible young leaves and valuable timber.
Flowering in July & August (a rare bloom time for trees), makes it a valuable nectar source for insects.
In autumn, the leaves turn a warm mix of orange-yellow and brown.
Needs a sunny, well-drained site.
