Description
A shrub from central China, growing to a height of 2.5m.
Like others of this family, it bears aromatic fruits which are very large (10-15cm) long - and can be eaten cooked (they make a good lemony jelly).
Can be pollinated by other flowering quinces (any Chaenomeles species).
