Description
Fruit tree from the Caucasus, widely grown for the fruits, edible when dark red and soft with a good flavour, often made into preserves and fruit leathers. Immature fruits also make great pickled "olives".
Vibrant yellow scented blooms in January - long before Forsythia!
Partially self-fertile, would recommend getting more than 1 plant for improved fruit yields.
