Description
A cross between gooseberry and blackcurrant, Jostaberries have a perfect balance between sweet and sharp and are not as pungent a flavour as blackcurrants. Berries are reddish-black and just larger in size than a blackcurrant.
Early Jostaberry fruit is not unlike that of a gooseberry and tastes like a sweet blackcurrant when fully ripe in late July.
A very fast growing and high yielding thornless bush.
