UK Orders – Temporary Update (Local Collection Only)

As we begin opening our website, we are currently offering local collection only from Edible Canopy Nursery.

We had planned to launch with UK-wide delivery available. However, due to disruption caused by the ongoing merger between Parcelforce Worldwide and Royal Mail, courier services are currently experiencing delays. Rather than risk plants being held up in transit, we’ve chosen to delay introducing our delivery option until services are running reliably.

We’re hoping to launch nationwide delivery within the next couple of weeks, once things have settled. Thank you for your patience and support as we get up and running—it really does mean a great deal to a small, independent nursery.

Local Collection
Collection is available from Edible Canopy Nursery:

  • Tuesdays, between 10am and 4pm
  • Alternative times may be arranged by prior agreement

We prepare orders for collection on Mondays, so please be aware if you order on a Monday or Tuesday you will likely have to wait to collect the following week. We will be in touch to arrange a convenient time within the stated hours.

Please do not turn up without email confirmation that your order is ready for collection.

Ordering & Preparation Time
Orders are prepared with care, with timing depending on plant readiness and weather conditions.

As a small, independent nursery run by a team of one, we appreciate your patience—particularly during the busy spring season. Every plant is handled as efficiently as possible to ensure it reaches you in optimal condition.

To avoid unnecessary stress to plants, collection may occasionally be delayed during periods of extreme weather (such as frost or heatwaves). If this affects your order, we will contact you.

Packaging
We aim to minimise waste wherever possible and regularly reuse boxes and packaging materials. As a result, your order may not always be presented in pristine or uniform packaging.

While it may look a little well-used, this reflects our effort to reduce environmental impact—without compromising the care and protection of your plants.

Collection Responsibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Arrange and attend collection at an agreed time
  • Ensure suitable transport conditions for live plants

If you are unable to collect at the agreed time, please let us know as soon as possible so we can rearrange.

Uncollected Orders
If we are unable to arrange collection, and plants are not collected within 6 weeks of our initial contact, the order will be considered abandoned. Due to the perishable nature of the goods, no refund will be issued.
