Banana Passion Fruit

A tender evergreen climber suitable for the conservatory or a wall in mild regions, growing 5 m high in the right conditions. Bears delicious edible large fruits of good flavour.

It survives short dips down to -5°C when dormant, but prolonged frost or temperatures below -2°C severely damage young growth and stems. It will re-shoot from the roots if defoliation/top dies back, unless you have had prolonged hard frost.
