Description
This is the true medicinal comfrey, historically used to heal broken bones and wounds, giving it its common names "Knitbone" or "Boneset".
Comfrey is an effective, fast-growing groundcover known for its large, coarse leaves that quickly suppress weeds and create a lush carpet in moist, shaded, or sunny areas. It's very popular with bees and is a great mineral accumulator.
Leaves can be used to make a fertiliser for plants.
