AKA Quaker comfrey, Russian comfrey. Perennial to 1m (3 ft) high. All parts, like other comfreys, have medicinal properties. Comfrey is a low-maintenance, weed-smothering ground cover plant that is tolerant of poor soil and neglect.
An excellent mineral accumulator and bee plant.
