Description
A perennial legume of the sweet pea family, with similar colourful flowers, a scrambling tendril climber to 2m high forming a mass of blue-green foliage and producing clusters of pink, rose, or white flowers; very deep-rooted.
A good nitrogen fixer and bee plant.
Thrives in moderately fertile, humus-rich, and well-drained soil. It adapts well to sand, loam, or clay-loam textures and tolerates all pH ranges.
