Description
Evergreen perennial from Southern Europe, growing to 60cm high. Forms small dense bushes covered with tiny dark green aromatic leaves, topped in midsummer with spikes of deep violet-blue flowers.
The leaves are used as a herb which deserves more popularity - a bridge between sage and mint and the flowers are also edible.
