Description
Korean selection, bearing large and very sweet black fruits. Tree is naturally semi-dwarfed.
Morus alba also has the best edible leaves of the mulberries. Mulberry leaves are high in protein and contain lots of antioxidants. They have also been used medicinally to help reduce blood sugar levels, cholesterol, and inflammation. The young, tender leaves can be eaten fresh, or cooked and leaves (any age) made into tea, or powdered to take as a supplement.
Leaves are large and heart-shaped and turn a striking, vivid yellow in autumn.
