Plum 'Blaisdon Red'

Dual purpose. Early August. Flower group C. Blaisdon Red is probably the best jam maker of all, with a vibrant purple-red coloured skin that turns the golden yellow flesh bright red when cooked. The tree yields heavily with large crops of medium sized fruit and is fairly disease resistant. Blaisdon Red's tree itself is upright in habit so good for a small garden space. Lovely white blossoms appear in the spring.
