Description
A rare high yielding Russian comfrey variety, this one selected for animal fodder production. Highest protein content of comfrey species.
Clumps typically spread about 60 to 90 cm (2 to 3 feet) wide.
Prefers moist, deep, organically rich soils, but adapts well to heavy clay and various pH levels. Features a massive, deep taproot that allows it to access nutrients from deep in the soil profile, making it highly drought-tolerant once established.
