Description
A large shrub or small tree from Eastern North America growing 5-8 m high. White flowers in spring are followed by edible sweet bluish fruits. Good in hedges, bees like the flowers, and the wood is sometimes used for handles and fishing rods.
One of the strongest wild marzipan/almond flavours that you’ll harvest in early spring.
