Description
Attractive perennial umbellifer, with masses of white flowers in late spring/early summer. Forms a strong upright clump to 1 metre.
Edible tubers produced in autumn. Delicious roasted with sesame oil. Good yields if grown in full sun. Mediterranean native.
Caution is needed as other members of this genus are poisonous.
