Description
Seyval Blanc is a historic French-American hybrid cross of Seibel 5656 and Seibel 4986 and has been used in English wines succesfully for decades. Known as 'bombproof' it is highly vigorous and reliable that will produce large crops even in the worst seasons. As a wine grape it is highly versatile and can be used as a base for traditional method sparkling wines or for clean, un-oaked dry whites with notes of grapefruit, green apple and melon.
Bears heavy crops of small green grapes, mid season ripening.
Excellent autumn display of vibrant foliage, turning shades of yellow and gold.
