Himalayan Strawberry

Found in the high Himalayas, fruits are similar to F.vesca, being very aromatic with a good flavour.

In traditional Himalayan regional medicine, a juice made from the leaves and roots is used to treat digestive upsets, while the raw, crushed unripe fruit has historically been chewed to soothe minor tongue abrasions and blemishes.

Stays very low to the ground, topping out at just 5 to 15 cm (2 to 6 inches) tall, but it can spread over a broad area horizontally.
