Loquat 'Mrs Cookson'

A large evergreen shrub or small tree with large leathery leaves and fragrant winter flowers.

Loquat is a delicate tropical stone fruit with a refreshing sweet and mildly tangy taste. Often described as a a juicy, tropical mix of peach, apricot, and citrus, with subtle hints of mango, plum, or mild cherry. 

'Mrs Cookson' produces a good crop of large, yellow fleshed fruits that have an excellent flavour.
