Description
Bulgarian variety fruiting as early as the first year from planting, with large black fruits of great flavour.
Leaves are large and heart-shaped and turn a striking, vivid yellow in autumn.
Typically grows to a height and spread of 6 to 8 metres when mature, but can be kept smaller with pruning. Fast growing, even in poor soils. Prefers moist well-drained soils but otherwise adaptable.
