Mulberry 'Collier'

Fruit black, good flavour, from the USA.

Trees fruit very young (often within 2 to 3 years). Ripens in mid-July and continues for several weeks into late summer.

Leaves are large and heart-shaped and turn a striking, vivid yellow in autumn.

Typically grows to a height and spread of 6 to 8 metres when mature, but can be kept smaller with pruning. Fast growing, even in poor soils. Prefers moist well-drained soils but otherwise adaptable.
