A rare black mulberry variety known for producing good yields of large, deeply flavoured purple-black fruits in mid-summer.
These slow-growing, ornamental trees thrive in sunny, sheltered spots and are highly productive once established, often beginning to bear fruit around year 4 or 5.
Leaves are large and heart-shaped and turn a striking, vivid yellow in autumn.
