Scarlet Bee Balm

A North American perennial growing 1-1.2 m high with scarlet or pink flowers in summer. The leaves can be used as a flavouring or for tea (added to China tea, they produce a taste like Earl Grey tea); the flowers are also edible. Much loved by bees.

Grows in any soil, in sun or part shade.
