Silverweed

A spreading perennial with good edible starchy rhizomes - once used as a staple crop. Also a great bee plant.

A low-growing, prostrate perennial that spreads vigorously via long, red runners (stolons), similar to a strawberry plant. The undersides of the leaves are covered in dense, silky white hairs, giving the plant a distinct silky silver sheen.
