Description
Very early season. Canes are slightly thorny and vigorous, branching. Fruits very large, dark purplish-red, very good sweet-acid flavour, easily picked. High yielding, ripens in July and August.
It is a hybrid of a raspberry and an 'Aurora' blackberry, specifically designed as an improved, higher-yielding alternative to the loganberry. It is named after the River Tay in Scotland.
