Geisenheim 139 Walnut is a variety that stands out due to its excellent resistance to low temperatures, enabling successful cultivation even in colder regions.

The tree is medium vigorous and highly productive, providing a stable foundation for abundant harvests. Its elongated oval shape offers space for the development of large fruits. The shell is thin and smooth, light in color, making each fruit appealing and attractive.

The fruit has a kernel yield (fill) of up to 50%. This exceptionally high percentage of kernel within the shell further highlights the value of this variety. Growth habit: medium

Pollination: self fertile, to maximise plant with Buccaneer, Broadview, Lara.

Protect young trees from wind with a nurse plant, such as Broom.
